How comes the RTX 4090 can’t run at 240hz?

i’d say not worth it for gaming, I bought the g9 oled and regret, it’s nice having screen space but im running all my games for the price of 4k gaming but with 1440p display, i can only imagine how this screen runs, even with a 4090/5090.

A lot of people are very worried about the sub pixel structure. To clarify I did not show any close ups from this monitor. The image I showed is from a different monitor. To be clear this one image was never meant to represent the monitor and I had no idea people would interpret it that way. I simply showed it as an example of QD OLEDs triangle structure in general for all QD OLEDs. That said It was clearly a mistake which caused confusion that I will not repeat. Also I think it’s time to clear up my opinion on QD OLED generations. I have found after much testing that there is little to no appreciable difference between the generations on monitors specifically. This includes brightness and text clarity, where I personally can’t say it has noticeably improved. Additionally, as far as l'm aware the burn in complaints from V1 were more to do with incorrect pixel refresh settings, though yes, there is a chance the latest gen OLEDs MAY be a bit more resistant to burn in, but I have not seen any evidence to prove this claim. Hopefully you can understand that sometimes we as reviewers make mistakes or don't think about how something might be interpreted differently if not worded correctly. Genuinely, from someone who's used this, is the Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 a good monitor? One that's worth the money and can run large games? My old monitor could not even run Minecraft, so I'm really looking for a fast, reliable one.

I got mine here right now (preordered in Germany) and ufff. The coating absolutely is an issue (amazing how some people sugar coat it, the coating on my old LG 27 UHD monitor is mate too and by far not as bad and grainy). I've an Gigabyte QD OLED on it's way to me so I'll be able to compare them. I also tried playing in HDR (Helldivers 2) and the colors are completely all over the place. Like what is this? It was so bad, that I seriously thought my screen is broken.

Really sad they still haven't fixed non-black blacks on QD-OLED, that's like the main reason to get OLED in the first place

I wish every manufacturer put outward facing ports on their monitors like LG and Corsair do. It's objectively superior to downward facing ports. Better with monitor arms. Easier to mess with cables when problems occur.

4k is objectively better obviously, however to me it's just a massive waste of resources and diminishing returns kick in the higher the resolution goes, I've chased 4k and I found that I'm much happier back on my 24" 1080p monitor and I do have 20/20 vision it's just not that big of an improvement. Ever since we've went from CRT monitors to LCDs we've been chasing the clarity that we've lost because non-native resolutions look like shit on LCDs and even though they are extremely sharp we've lost clarity to a lack of contrast and motion blur, there's a lot more to image than resolution.

I fully agree that glossy displays are better than matte. Matte displays in comparison is just trash. Sure, matte displays have a "diffused" look vs the direct reflection of glossy, okay, 1 for 1 there. But glossy displays have a way better picture quality than matte. That's 2:1 for glossy vs matte. For me, there is more advantages to glossy displays than matte.

I own an LG c1 and i gotta say, gaming on my msi led 1440p monitor is still awesome because its still quantum dot technology and in my opinion thats really what you need, colors

Did you look at the subpixel layout yourself or are you going off of earlier rumors? Not accusing you of anything, wondering if I could take your statement as fact since I've heard noises that it might be the older panel just driven faster.
